Corvid-19 Update

Like many businesses and attractions we have followed the Goverment guidelines on the virus outbreak and decided that it will not be possible to safely welcome visitors to the mill at present.

All the events listed below up to the end of June 2020 have been cancelled or postponed, including our own Open Mills Weekend

The mill is normally open to the public at a number of events throughout the year and the opening times for these events are included in the calendar below. There is no fixed charge for admission but donations are requested to meet ongoing repair and maintenance costs.

Visits at other times can be arranged, see the booking form below

Note 1 Admission charges apply for all MAC Hillclimb Events. For safety reasons the mill is only open during the lunch break in competition and exact times depend on the progress of the event. For more information on their events please visit the MAC website.

Note 2 The mill will be turning on all days of National Mills Weekend and it is hoped to mill between 14:00 and 16:00. Refreshmenst are offered and flour should be available in return for a suitable donation.

If you would like to visit the mill on a different opening times to those shown above we are happy to make an appointment. The mill is a Grade II listed building on a steeply sloping site and wheelchair access is very limited. Our volunteeers will make every effort to assist wheelchair users but some parts of the mill will not be accesible.

A typical visit to the mill lasts about an hour. Click here to find other places and events to fill your day
